30 Day Shred:Day 6
After such a great day yesterday, it really was a hassle to work out today. All day I kept making excuses as to why I shouldn’t. I had class from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm, then work right after until 6:00 pm. I then had to go to my friend’s house, the one I am house sitting for and clean up. They got back tonight so I wanted everything to be nice for them. I vacuumed, restocked their fridge, did the dishes and packed my stuff. Before I left their house at around 7:30 pm, I fed the dog, cleaned the backyard and locked up.
I got home and it was almost 8:00 pm already and I had still not had dinner. So I stopped by Qudoba on the way home and picked up a Naked Chicken Salad. It was delicious. I proceeded to watch the DNC for a bit before I got got up and took a shower, unpacked my stuff and started laundry. Before I knew it, it was almost Midnight. EEK.
So I started my Squats, I did 70 today and I don’t feel any pain while doing them. It’s when I stop and start walking around that the pain hits me. I’m pretty proud that I can do 70 consecutively. I then jumped right into Day 6 of the 30 Day Shred. It is getting much easier, I actually count how many reps the girls do to make sure that is the same amount I at least get up to. My poor quads were dying after doing all the squats and then lunges. Yick.
Then the blogilates calendar was asking for 100 squat pulses. LOL NO BITCH. So needless to say I skipped that shit for today.
Oh and last night I did the blogilates splits video, the call me maybe challenge, and the we are never ever getting back together challenge. Like I said, last night was fun. My friend and I were supposed to go to the gym tonight, but she cancelled on me like fucking always. I hate going to the gym by myself so I only go when she does and she barely goes with me. She always makes up a lame ass excuse to not go. So over it. She can stop bitching to me about how overweight she is if she refuses to change her life.
My eating today was much better than what it has been, now that I am not house sitting and near all their delicious food, I think it will be easier for me. I do need to go stock up on fruits and veggies on Friday.
